Banana Raisin Bread

This banana bread is full of raisins. Graham cracker crumbs add a nice flavor and texture.
 

Ingredients

  • 1&2/3 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1& 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbls. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup mashed bananas
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup melted margarine
  • 2 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 cup seedless raisins

Method

In large bowl combine crumbs, flour, sugar, baking powder & salt. In small bowl combine bananas, milk, margarine, & eggs; stir this mixture into crumb mixture just until blended. Mix in raisins. Spoon into greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-70 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely.
