Blue Cheese Biscuits with Garlic Butter

These soft biscuits are a real treat fresh out of the oven. Just mix 5 ingredients and bake biscuits, then brush with garlic butter.
 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 oz blue cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • Garlic butter:
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Method

Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees. Biscuits: Stir together melted butter and remaining ingredients until just blended. Turn dough out and cut biscuits with round cutter. Place biscuits on a greased baking sheet and cook for 15-18 minutes. Garlic butter: Put butter and garlic in a pan and saute until garlic is softened. When biscuits are finished brush the tops with the garlic butter using a pastry brush.

 

Notes: When cooking the garlic butter be careful not to brown the garlic.
