|¾ cup||Light Cream|
|1 tsp||Vanilla Extract|
|1 pkg||Active Dry Yeast|
|¾ cup||Chopped Dried Tropical Fruit Mix or 1/4 Cup Each of Chopped Dried Pineapple, apricots and raisins|
Add all ingredients (except dried fruit) to bread machine pan in order suggested by the manufacturer. Select "basic" setting, Â“light crustÂ”, and Â“add extras.Â” When the machine indicates that itÂ’s time to add extras, add dried fruit. (If your bread machine doesnÂ’t have this feature, add fruit after first mix cycle.) It is not advisable to use timed setting for this recipe, as it contains cream and eggs.
This bread reminds me of challa with its rich, sweet tender crumb. But this bread has lots of dried fruit and is almost like French Brioche or Italian Panettone. Whatever it resembles, itÂ’s a quick delight thatÂ’s sure to please.
