Bread Machine Pizza Crust

Yeast dough for a pizza crust is mixed and kneaded in a bread machine, then topped with desired ingredients and baked.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 1/4 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 1/4 tsp yeast (or 1 packet)
  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • ....
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Cornmeal

Method

Put ingredients in this order into bread machine, except for olive oil & cornmeal. Select dough cycle. When dough cycle is complete, remove from bread machine pan onto floured surface. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Brush a cookie sheet or pizza pan with olive oil; sprinkle corn meal on top of oil. Spread dough onto pan. Put sauce and desired cheese and toppings onto crust. Bake for 8-10 minutes in oven, or until done.
