Cranberry-Pineapple Yeast Bread

This honey-sweetened yeast bread is baked in the bread machine, and contains dried cranberries and dried pineapple to make it special.
Ingredients
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons warm water
- 2 Tablespoons (canola) oil
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 Tablespoon nonfat dry milk powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups bread flour
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup dried pineapple, chopped

Method
Place all ingredients, except dried pineapple and cranberries in the pan of your bread machine, according to manufacturer's recommendations. Select white bread, 1 1/2 pound loaf. Add dried fruit at signal or when first kneading is almost complete.
Notes: This light, tasty bread is slightly sweet and a bit tangy from the cranberries and pineapple. I got the idea from a bread served at a local restaurant; they served it warm with cream cheese and also used it for making really delicious French toast.
