Using frozen cinnamon roll dough shortcuts this recipe. The butter, sugars, pecans and ice cream mixture that's baked with them makes them gooey-rich.

  • Servings: 6

1½ sticks (3/4 Cup) Salted Butter
¾ cup Granulated Sugar
1½ cups Brown Sugar
1½ cups Vanilla Ice Cream
1½ cups Chopped Pecans
6 Jumbo Frozen Cinnamon Rolls, i like rhodes brand) (do not thaw first

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt Butter, Sugar, Brown Sugar, and Vanilla Ice Cream. Stir continuously until all ingredients have melted and blended. Sprinkle chopped pecans in the bottom of a 9x13" baking pan. Place FROZEN Cinnamon Rolls on top of the pecans. Pour some of the warm caramel mixture over the frozen rolls. Cover pan with foil and let stand in refrigerator overnight to rise.

In the morning, remove from refrigerator, remove foil, and let stand while preheating oven to 350 degrees. Bake approximately 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool a couple of minutes, then carefully invert hot rolls onto a cookie sheet with edges; serve warm.

Helpful Tips:

Extra caramel sauce may be served over scoops of ice cream!
