Oat and Fruit Waffles

One cup of prepared pancake or waffle batter is combined with rolled oats, bran cereal and coconut, then baked in a waffle maker. The waffles are topped with Cool Whip and fresh fruit.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pancake-waffle batter
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup Grapenuts or Bran cereal
  • 1/4 cup coconut
  • Fat-Free Cool Whip
  • Fresh Fruit

Method

Add oats, cereal and coconut to the prepared batter. Bake in a waffle maker. Top with fresh fruit and fat-free cool whip.

 

Notes: This is yummy for breakfast. I love pancakes and waffles, but was looking for an alternative to the butter and syrup. The cool whip and fruit makes it delicious.
