Perogy Dough

Make these boiled perogies with your favorite filling or use the one provided here. Serve them with sour cream for a quick appetizer.
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1 Cup Sour Cream
- 1 Tsp. Salt
- 2 Egg Whites
- For Filling:
- 1 Cup Cottage Cheese
- 1 - 2 Cups Mashed Potatoes
- 1 T. Parmesan Cheese or 1/2 Cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
- Season with seasoning salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder.
- Mix all ingredients together and use to fill perogy dough.

Method
Mix all ingredients together and knead into a smooth ball. Add flour to get a non sticky consistency (like bread before rising). Pinch off small pieces and roll into small circles. Fill with desired filling and fold over edges to seal. Try not to handle the dough too much as it will get tough if you work it too much Boil finished perogies until they float. Finish in butter in frying pan till brown and alternate fried onions and bacon to accompany. Serve with sour cream and enjoy.
