Scones are a comfort food and these scones are delicious and easy with frozen dough!

  • Servings: 12
  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 30 seconds
  • Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

12 Rhodes Texas Rolls, thawed to room temperature
Vegetable Oil
Optional:
Powdered Sugar
Butter
Jam or Honey

Directions:

Pour oil 2-3 inches deep into a small saucepan or an electric frying pan and heat to medium high or 375 degrees. Flatten each roll into a 4 inch circle. Fry dough on each side until golden brown, about 15 seconds on each side. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or serve with butter, honey or jam, if desired.
