Sour Cream, Orange, Walnut Loaf

This slightly sweet yeast dough combines honey, toasted walnuts, sour cream, and orange peel and juice. If you wish, you may also add caraway seed.
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup orange juice (at room temperature)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped toasted walnuts
- 1 tablespoon caraway seeds (optional)
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons freshly grated orange peel
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups bread flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast

Measure all ingredients into bread machine pan in the order suggested by manufacturer, adding walnuts, caraway, honey, sour cream, and orange peel with liquids. Set on basic/white or whole wheat bread cycle; use medium/normal or light crust color setting. Remove bread from pan; cool on wire rack.
Notes: This is a mildly sweet, moist loaf that makes great toast. Try it with a little orange marmalade! Caraway seeds can be omitted, if desired.
