Strawberry Banana Waffles

Pieces of diced banana are in this waffle batter, along with flour, milk, melted butter, sugar, leavening and strawberry ice cream syrup.
 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons Strawberry ice cream syrup
  • 1 Large banana, diced
  • Spreadable butter
  • Powdered sugar or maple syrup

Method

Combine all ingredients with fork until well blended. Pour batter onto heated waffle iron and cook until slightly browned. Top with butter; sprinkle with powdered sugar or maple syrup
