Super Creamed Cornbread

This is a very moist cornbread with a dense texture. The creamed corn adds a great flavor that can't be beat. Serve with any grilled or barbecued dish.Ingredients
- 1 small can creamed corn
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup milk

Method
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all dry ingredients and set aside. Whisk all other wet ingredients, except creamed corn together. Add to dry ingredients and whisk thoroughly. Mix in creamed corn. Pour mixture into a 9 X 9 greased pan. Bake 30-40 minutes until golden brown and top springs back, or if testing with a straw, it comes out clean. Let cool in pan, cut into squares and butter when cooled.
