Swedish Apple Bread

Apple bread with caramel sauce

  • Total Time: 1 hr. 10 minutes


¾ cup Sugar
¾ cup Brown Sugar
2¼ cups Flour
½ tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Nutmeg
T Tsp. Salt
¾ cup Vegetable Oil
3 Eggs, beaten
2 tsp Vanilla
2¾ cups Tart Cooking Apples
Caramel Topping:
1 stick Butter
¾ cup Brown Sugar
1× 3 oz. box Vanilla Pudding, cook and serve
1 tsp Cinnamon


Combine wet ingredients. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Beat. Fill two small greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clear.

Let cool. Put caramet topping ingredients in a saucepan and stir on medium heat until melted. Let caramel cool for 10 minutes. Put caramel into Ziploc bag. Cut corner to drizzle caramel topping on bread.
