Tomato Toast

Rub toasted French bread slices with garlic and moisten with tomatoes in this recipe.
 

Ingredients

  • 4 slices French bread
  • 2 large garlic cloves, peeled and halved
  • 2 medium tomatoes, halved
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Ground black pepper

Method

Toast or grill bread until golden. Rub garlic halves on each bread slice. Rub tomatoes halves on each bread. Making sure bread gets moistened with tomato pulp. Throw away excess pulp and peels. Drizzle each with olive oil and sprinkle salt and pepper. Serve immediately.

 

Notes: This dish can also be serve for brunch.
