Turkey Dressing

Maintain the variety of flavors in this dressing by sauteing each vegetable separately. Try it for this year's Thanksgiving dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf of wheat bread, torn in tiny pieces.
- 2 lbs. mushrooms sauteed in a generous amount of margarine.
- 2 large onions finely chopped and sauteed
- 1-2 stalks of celery finely chopped and sauteed in a generous amount of margarine
- 1 lb. ground pork sauage, browned as directed on package.
- Gizzards from the trukey, sauteed and chopped.
- 1-2 cups chicken broth

Method
In a large bowl, add the bread, top with each of the sauteed items one at a time so bread can absorb the flavor of each. After all have been added mix thoroughly, add sausage. Mix in. Add chicken broth slowly and mix in until stuffing is moist. Fill turkey with dressing.
Notes: Important: mushrooms, celery, onions, gizzards all sauteed separately. Stiff dressing loosely in turkey.
