Baking powder biscuit dough made with heavy whipping cream and a little sugar is cut into squares, baked and served with a mixture of butter substitute, raisins, marmalade and pepper.

  • Servings: 24 biscuits

3 cups All-purpose Flour, plus extra for rolling
1 Tbsp Plus 1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
2 tsp Sugar
2¼ tsp Sea Salt
2½ cups Heavy Whipping Cream
½ cup 'i Can't Believe It's Not Butter' Spread, melted
¾ cup Golden Raisins
¼ cup Orange Marmalade
½ tsp Ground Black Pepper

Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into large bowl. Add cream to dry ingredients, mixing with hands. Take care there is no flour remaining in the bottom of the bowl. Turn biscuit mixture onto lightly floured surface. With floured hands, shape into 9x6-inch rectangle, about 1-inch thick. Lightly flour a knife and cut biscuit mixture lengthwise into 4 pieces, then crosswise into 6 pieces, to make 24, 1 1/2-inch squares. Arrange biscuits on a nonstick baking sheet or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then chill 15 minutes. While biscuits chill, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake 15 minutes or until biscuits are light golden brown. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in medium bowl and set aside. Cool biscuits slightly, then with a small knife, cut an X in the tops of biscuits and gently dig out a small hole. Spoon some spread mixture inside. Or serve spread mixture on the side. Serve immediately.
